Hi, its me, Maggie!
I am an 11 year old Thoroughbred mare . Ive had quite a life so far, and I want to tell my story.
I have a nice lady that is helping me write this, we have formed a partnership, she and I. She takes care of me, and all the horses here, but she is like my tech support. Since I don’t have hands and fingers and so forth, I really need her. She got the blog up and running, and does the typing and takes the pictures, But believe me, all of the words here are mine and mine alone.
My J/C name is Lotsamoxie and I was born in New York back in the winter of 2005. And what a cold snowy winter it was. When I was just two weeks old, New York City received a record of 26.7 inches of snow. It was cold, blowing but I was safe in a stall, snuggled with my mom. Storms continued to hit the northeast, but I was young and safe and had plenty to eat. Then came spring, and fields of grass, running and playing and just being the silly horse that I am. Life changed a lot as I got older. But I’ll fill you in as we get to know each other a little better.

-If you look me up, I am listed as “unraced” ,
-I do have a tattoo.
-Even though I am a Thoroughbred Mare , I am not crazy!
– I have an opinion on EVERYTHING!
-I am the granddaughter of Storm Cat. He’s kind of a famous guy. His babies and grand babies have the reputation of being very athletic like he was, and having a whole bunch of attitude (who me??)
-Oh and yes, I use lots of exclamation points, I can’t help it, i am just that excited!!!
I’ve heard that I can be a real handful but I can only be who I actually am. I sometimes make people shake their heads, throw up their arms in frustration, but if you sit quietly next to me and listen to my stories, I think you will begin to understand. I can bring out the best or the worst in people it seems. But I can only be who I am.
