float my teeth? What the heck?

(This post was originally on March 12th)
Hi, it’s me, Maggie!!!
What a funny day. That horse rescue lady came to see me today, But I have to say, I am a little worried. Before she left, she said that I was going to have my teeth floated on Monday.

What the heck? How are my teeth going to be floating, and most importantly, if they are floating, how will I eat my hay? I will never pretend to understand these humans, but she is pretty nice to me, so anyway, we will have to see what Monday brings.

Today I got groomed, we did some ground work, put on a fancy saddle and fancy boots, and worked on standing still for the mounting block. I have a tendency (ok I do it all the time) when the rider mounts, I walk right off!

I don’t really understand all this wanting to “stand still” what is the point of that? I am a Thoroughbred, granddaughter of Storm Cat! And all this standing still stuff. but you know, I did it easily, because there isn’t anything I can’t do if I put my mind to it. I just need practice and a reminder once in a while.

Still looking for the perfect human partner to want to take me home. I am a handful, but let me tell you, I am well worth it.
Xoxo Maggie
