Hi, Its me, Maggie!!
This is a post I made back when I first came to this rescue but now I have this fancy blog, so here it is!

Hi, it’s Maggie again, I posted yesterday (9 y/o unraced OTTB mare Lotsamoxie) and a few people asked that I keep them up to date on what I was up to.

Well..
I am a bit afraid of the halter/lead line, and carrot stick. When someone walks to me I RUN . That has always worked well in the past. And yesterday, when that horse lady walked in, carrying those things, I RAN. Just like always…I don’t know what she was doing. Carrying that stuff, but it didn’t seem like she came to catch me, so I just watched from the other side. She changed my water tub and left. Just like that. No CATCHING…hmmmm….
Well wouldn’t you know, later she did it AGAIN! And I RAN AGAIN but then, I looked around and , she doesn’t look too scary, maybe I will go back and see what is what. So I did. And she gave me a scratch and left. hmmm…
And then later, lo and behold, she walked in, carrying halter lead line and carrot stick, just like the last two times, but this time I didn’t run at all. She stood there and called my name. So I WENT. TOWARDS her. OMG I don’t usually go THAT direction. And it was not even scary. I got a scratch and a nice pet, and then she left again. NO BIG DEAL. She said I was REALLYVERYSMART whatever that is, it must be good
